FreeRTOS eBook website page request

Hi Richard Is it possible to also put the version numbers of the various eBooks on the website page, so that we can easily tell when the current versions are updated and are newer than the versions that we have already purchased? The table of contents for the “FreeRTOS eBook PIC32 Edition” is identical to that for the “”FreeRTOS eBook Standard Edition”, which I’m pretty sure can’t be the case. Would it be possible to update the table of contents for the PIC32 Edition so that I can get a better idea of the PIC32 specifics that are covered? Thanks, and Best Wishes for 2010
John

A lot of what the book contains is practical information on using the kernel, which is largely the same on all devices, so there is not too much different between the two versions. The PIC32 edition comes with a set of projects that compile and run in MPLAB, obviously on a PIC32.  The standard edition comes with a set of projects that compile and run on a PC using Open Watcom as the compiler.  Likewise the instructions on using the projects are specific to the target. Also the PIC32 edition is PIC32 specific when it comes to talk about things that are hardware dependent, like interrupt nesting, rather than generic, like what a task is or what a queue is. Regards.
